six at once!

Pete and I purchased the 5-6 player extension for Settlers last week, and got to play it yesterday when members of Team Cookie came to visit. It was quite fun. The games were a bit longer than previous 4-person games that I remember, but not agonizingly so. The introduction of an additional desert tile was interesting, but in the third game we played, the two deserts ended up being right next to each other, which was convenient (except that the wheat port was on them, unfortunately).

Anyway, I'm glad we finally have the extension. It seemed like more often than not, one of us had to sit out during Settlers when we had friends over. Now we can pack our dining room with six people and all have a great time. Best $16 I ever spent.
